I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin and received my teaching degree at Concordia University in River Forrest, Illinois. I also have a “sequence” (minor) in Church Music. In addition, I have taken courses in Children’s Music and hand bells at Concordia University in Irvine, California.

My first teaching position was at Redeemer in South Gate, California, where I taught for five years. I enjoyed being the organist and choir accompanist.

Prince of Peace in Anaheim, California then became my home where I taught Second Grade for 31 years. Since June of 2004, I have retired from full-time teaching.

Now, I am the Music instructor at Prince of Peace, and I direct the hand bells and chorus for the students.
