About Our School
Prince of Peace Lutheran School began in 1962 with Kindergarten.
The first Prince of Peace day school class was held in
September 1962 and the first education facility was built
in 1963. The two-story education facility was built in
1968. 1978 brought us the House of Faith. The most recent
building that now houses the Preschool was dedicated in
April 1991. The school rapidly expanded to include kindergarten
to sixth grade. In 1978 our first seventh and eighth grade
classes were held. 1991 was the first year Prince of Peace
expanded to hold individual K through eighth grades. Our
approach to education includes sound fundamental Christian
education coupled with a Christ centered faculty and staff.
In a spirit of love and concern for our children, the
school endeavors to assist the parent in nurturing their
child's development in these five areas of growth: Spiritual,
Academic, Physical, Mental, and Social. The goal of Prince
of Peace Lutheran School and Preschool is to provide the
child with a sound foundation for life so that he or she
will learn to live joy fully in faith with love and concern
for others .
